The most famous producing area of natural pearl is the Persian Gulf district which account for about 90% of global gross. The centre of central selling is in Paris. Besides, the Manaar Bay between India and Sri Lanka also has very long history for producing pearls.

The producing area of cultivating pearls mainly distributes in China, Japan, Tahiti, Australian, Indonesia, Philipine and so on that all have different scale of pearl cultivating industry.
